Seven Contemporary Artists are a group of diverse practicing artists who graduated together from RMIT University in 2004.
They are self directed and meet on a regular basis for artistic discourse. They organise and take part in art exhibitions, trade fairs and events.
New artists are often introduced and invited to exhibit with the Seven Contemporary Artists, this brings new ideas, challenges and growth to the group.
The original core members have exhibited together since 2002. The Name Seven Contemporary Artists was first chosen in 2007 for their group exhibition at Forty Five Downstairs Gallery in Flinders Lane Melbourne. The group exhibit regularly at Art Melbourne at the Carlton Exhibition Buildings.
Seven Contemporary Artists include some of Australia's up and coming artists, finalists and award winners.
